The Toughbook 19 is the fully rugged tablet PC offered by Panasonic. The Panasonic Toughbook 19 features a magnesium alloy case along with increased shock protection for all of the internal components, including the hard drive, motherboard, disk drive, screen, and other cards. It provides all of this protection, yet weighs only five pounds. The screen swivels, allowing the computer to be used like a traditional laptop with a keyboard or as a tablet PC. The screen is moisture and dust resistant, as are the keyboard and touchpad.

At first glance, the Panasonic Toughbook T5 looks very similar to any other laptop created by a major computer company like HP, Apple, Dell, or Gateway.
