The Panasonic Toughbook Y5 is the largest of the business-rugged models of laptops offered by Panasonic. The screen size is a hefty 14.1-inches to allow more room to multitask, show presentations to small groups, and increase all-around productivity. LAPTOP, a company providing unbiased information, advice, and insight into laptop computers, gave the Panasonic Toughbook W5 the 2007 Ultimate Choice Award in the Ultimate Ultraportables category. The 12.1-inch screen size and 2.9-pound weight makes the W5 small enough to fit into a briefcase or satchel to keep the computer with the user all of the time. A shock-mounted hard drive means the hard drive is kept safe even when the briefcase or satchel carrying the computer is accidentally dropped on the floor.
